Deliveries App Reviews

good, but still some rough edges to polish

a few oddities/rough edges: just accidentally “archived” a listing. and then, another when i thought i was selecting the “archive” view from a menu. but, oddly - there does not seem to be any such thing. highly confused. how to i see this archive? if there isn’t one, would make more sense to have this labeled as “delete” so it is clear that’s what users are doing. also, multiple “undo” would be nice. been using this app since it was out, but i’ve only gotten one notification. in the notifications center widget, would be nice to have some small text at the bottom saying “updated X minutes ago” - i right-click to refersh there, but when nothing changes, makes me wonder if it is actually updating - no indicator at all. when making my first listing, i found it strange that to edit it i had to right click to choose edit - double-clicking the sidebar selection, or having a dedicated “Edit” button in the top right (not hidden under “…") would be better/obvious for a new user. and, the pill shaped in-app note pops up, or changes, every minute which seems a bit unnecessary and highly distracting. not very obvious which is selected on the sidebar. the plus button on the right feels like it should be on the left as the sidebar list is what i am adding to. maybe it should be at the bottom of the sidebar? like adding playlists in itunes? using the app in japan, most the delivery services have an english tracking page now - would be cool to have a checkmark preference for “use english where available” or something like that.

Must have app

Great package tracking app. Anyone who shops online should have this app. It is everything you could want. The Notification Center widget is excellent, as well as the Extension to use in Safari. Highly recommend purchasing this app as well as the iOS counterpart.

After clicking a delivery in notificeation center, there is a slight delay in the app opening

When adding this app to the “Today” view in Notificatin Center on my 13” mid 2013 MacBook Air version 10.10.3 there is a probably a two second delay after clicking a delivery from the notifcation center before the app even appears to be opening (show up in dock and bounce up and down). This can be kind of annoying at times just because you think your click didn’t work or you think your computer is frozen. This is very minor bug but the rest of the app is excellent, I just hope this app continues to be supported through later versions of OS X!

Great app

I love being able to track all incoming packages in one place. The app keeps getting smarter (its now able to track Amazon purchases by Amazons own number, no matter what carrier they use for the shipment). For the people who cant find where archived tracking results go: just search for the shipment by however you named it (i.e. "Moms guitar") and the app will retrieve it from the archive.

Useful!! No more repeatingly going on browser and looking for tracking number + website

It does exactly what the pictures show. The map was actually such a refreshing addition and I love how it updates and gets me excited about it coming closer! Haha. Beautiful and flawless.

To be recommended

Delivieries is exactly how an app should be. It’s fast, beautifully designed - and there is even an iOS companion app available. It’s fun to see where your package is currently floating around and how long it will take until you hear the door bell ring :-)

Ok app, poor customer support

The program itself works ok. I purchased it for both Mac and iPhone. I have it installed on my iPhone, iPad, and my Mac. It has issues with synchronization with iCloud. I tried to get support from the developer but they haven’t helped. I’ve sent several e-mails and they have only responded a few tines and now I get no response. Not worth it for a program that costs $4.99 on OS X and $4.99 on iOS.

Mandatory application, but buggy on my machine

I’m a big fan of Junecloud’s dashboard widgeet Delivery Status, which I’ve been using free for years. It keeps getting better and better. When I purchased their app Deliveries, my expectations were high - and for good reason: it’s a good way to keep abreast of deliveries, with a few new features. Deliveries is little easier to use, since there are lots of ways to enter shipping data. I particularly liked how the data appeared on Notifications and on a separate pane. However, for some reason, the separate pane says I don’t have any deliveries; the shipping and delivery status remain blank. While Junecloud is courteous and responsive, they don’t seem to know how to fix the app. So, I’ve gone back ot using the Delivery Status widget, with works perfectly.

Love the app

I love your app, it works perfectly everytime I use it. I would like to suggest adding two services. First, Amazon México which launched several weeks ago. A second, Correos de México. Thank you!

Consistently Great Performance

I’ve used the Dashboard widget, as well as the iphone/ipad apps for about 2 years now. Since my experience with those apps has been outstanding, I unhesitatingly purchased the OS X app. Indeed, Junecloud has lived up to their reputation and I really dig this desktop app. There are a few things I love about this app: * Nice integration with maps app * Easy to input new shipments * Quick link to view more details online Some features I’d like to see: * Show the entire tracking history on the map with stops. * Show the package destination on the map (rather than my current location). Sometimes I’m out of town and tracking packages or am sending shipments to an address not my own.

It’s Great!!!

I see some people have complained about iCloud sync issues, but that is somewhat standard accross a lot of apps. With this app though, the solution is simple. Use the JuneCloud server instead of iCloud, it works a lot better. I use this app on all of my idevices and it works great. Thanks JuneCloud!

Lost!!!

Map disappears periodically and computer has to be rebooted to get the map back.

Fantastic App! Great Interface, iCloud Sync, iOS companion App

This is a fantastic app! So glad I purchased it. Tracks all packages, shows approximate location at all stages of transit, provides updated notifications to Mac OSX and iOS with companion app. Notifies when it’s delivered and where. Has a Mac OSX contextual services menu to make it very easy to place tracking numbers directly into the App. The app Syncs with iCloud on all devices. Provides ability to archive deliveries. Great Purchase!! :-)

Cant switch back to iCloud syncing

Once I accidentally hit the “Junecloud” button in the syncing preferences and now forever more my computer is no longer able to sync via icloud. Its super frustrating as it doesnt sync to my devices or vice-versa. I now have a mix of junecloud and icloud syncing devices including my phone, laptop, desktop, tablet and work computer, so there is no syncing at all happening anymore, destroying the number one reason I use this app :( Please please please fix this Junecloud!

Works great and is gorgeous

The app does what its supposed to, and sends a notification whenever a shipment moves or gets delivered. The sync is also seamless with the iOS app, so I have no complaints!

Great app and it works across iPhone, iPad and Mac

They did a great job. It works seamlessly between all devices using iCloud. I have been very impressed.

Good

Still very good to use with iPhone

Poor Support

I have this app installed on Two Mac Computers, an iPad, and iPhone and it has worked beautifully for a long time; however, several weeks ago my Macbook Air will sync using iCloud, but it will only add to iCloud and won’t download if the package was added on another device. I have now contacted support twice regarding this matter to which they have responded they will look into it; unfortunately, it’s been weeks and no response. If they had better support I would rate it higher.

Great Work

Great job guys, I love the attention to detail. It works well and even integrates with the context menu, i.e. you can right click on a tracking number and add it seamlessly. Love it, use it almost every day. Keep it up.

Good, except for new deliveries/refresh

The app is quite easy to use and effective. The only problem I am facing is that new entries would not load unless I quit and reopen the app. I figured out a way to easily quit and reopen the app with Automator but this is one flaw in the app. Hope that would be fixed but other than that it is a nice app for tracking packages.
